Talbot to leave Thomas Cook Sport for Kempster

Danny Talbot is leaving Thomas Cook Sport (TCS) after eight years to head up sponsorship activation agency Kempster in the newly created role of managing director. He will continue in his current role of managing director at TCS until the end of the year.

 

Talbot said: “I have had a fabulous eight years at TCS working with a truly inspirational team and great partners throughout the sports industry. I know the company will go from strength to strength, but the time is right for me to move on with a wonderful opportunity at Kempster and play my part in their exciting plans for the future.”

 

Amy Kemp, founder of Kempster, said: “We’ve grown organically since we began in 2004, making cautious investments such as creating our own unique event management software, VIPexperience. Danny will bring a new dimension to Kempster.”

 

Talbot added: “I have long admired Amy Kemp’s business and the first-class work her team has produced at some of the world’s biggest sports and music events.”
