Fife-based Team Challenge Company says it is eyeing acquisition opportunities to reach its goal of achieving £3 million turnover.

The company, where current turnover is almost £1m, says it is looking at either acquiring a business or a merger as part of a strategy to treble that figure.

Pre-tax profits for 2014 reached £127k which was slightly down from £141k in 2013. Gerard 'Gerry' Crowley, who co-owns the company with Stephen Hazley, told M&IT natural growth would take too long.

"We've been more strategic in the last year and we realise it would take an acquisition to reach our finance goals," he said.

Crowley said the company was also looking for larger headquarters to expand in to, it currently has a 450 sqm premises in Fife.
