The Corporate Hospitality Partnership’s £500k debt revealed

24/11/2010

The Corporate Hospitality Partnership Limited (TCHP) went into liquidation owing unsecured creditors nearly £500,000, a new document shows.

The London-based agency had been operating in the field of corporate hospitality and events for 20 years when it was placed into creditors voluntary liquidation in October last year.

A statement of receipts and payments filed by the company’s liquidator, Lane Bednash of Valentine & Co, shows that £496,059 is owed to unsecured creditors, while it has liabilities of £10,084. However, no money has been recovered from the liquidation and the liquidation process will now be concluded.

Before it ceased trading, TCHP provided hospitality at top sporting events such as Wimbledon, F1 British Grand Prix and Six Nations Rugby, as well as seasonal big tickets like Royal Ascot, Henley Royal Regatta and Chelsea Flower Show. Its client list included Coca-Cola, Toyota, Sony and J.P. Morgan, among other blue chips.
