The Vox conference centre at Resort World Birmingham is celebrating a successful first six months, having hosted more than 50 events and welcomed more than 20,000 delegates through its doors since opening in September 2015,

The brand new venue, part of the NEC Group and managed by the same team behind the ICC Birmingham, has also confirmed 23 repeat events.

Nick Waight, MD of the NEC Group Convention Centres, said: “The Vox is a very special venue. “Given its location in Resorts World, its state of the art facilities and its high level of customer service, it brings something new and fresh to the UK conference market.

“It’s designed to be contemporary, user friendly and centred on customer needs and requirements. The fact that nearly half of the customers that have used the Vox to date have already confirmed repeat bookings is something we are very proud of.”

The Vox is the first conference venue to sit within a fully integrated leisure complex in Europe.

James Elston, sales director at the Vox and ICC, said: “We are thrilled by the success of the first six months and the feedback from our clients has been outstanding. We have an excellent team at the Vox and each one of them strives to wow delegates with fabulous food and exceptional service.”
