Sundial has enhanced its meeting packages following the results from its survey, which found almost three-quarters of attendees at training events want alternatives to the traditional meeting room.

The residential venue group - made up of Highgate House, Barnett Hill and Woodside - has added complimentary items such as scented candles and bean bags in lieu of chairs, to help maximise productivity among delegates. The group has also enhanced its Creative Meeting Toolkit, to include a variety of stimuli that can be used as ice breakers or energisers.

It comes after feedback from their Learning and Development Survey found 74 per cent of participants said they wanted to hold meetings in more creative environments, including outdoor spaces.

Sundial Group’s managing director Tim Chudley said: "As well as enhancing our creative offering, we have fed the views of our guests into our ongoing refurbishment and investment plans. We will be installing new lighting, new furniture and facilities to reflect the desire of today’s meeting planners and attendees for more flexible, free flowing and relaxed meeting environments."
