The team at Twickenham Experience will take to the road next month to bring a taste of summer to conference and event organisers across the country.

The campaign follows the success of the 2015 autumn Twickenham Travels tour, which brought the Twickenham Experience team to more than 50 companies and agents and generated more than £160k in event enquiries.

With the Rugby World Cup over and the stadium’s £76 million refurbishment in place, the Twickenham Experience team will be focusing in this first quarter of 2016 on the spring conference season and summer banqueting.

James Lee, head of conference and event sales, said: “On the back of last year’s amazing tournament we wanted to bring a taste of that excitement to new and existing clients. The Twickenham Travels initiative was hugely popular last year and has certainly boosted sales. We are looking forward to providing some great giveaways and fun activities on the move so keep an eye out for our team on tour.”

The venue’s business development managers will take to the road throughout February and March to present an array of conference, meeting and banqueting options available at the stadium, together with summer pitch-side barbecues, drinks receptions and exclusive private dining opportunities at the home of England Rugby.
