Conference Centres Of Excellence – the marketing consortium of 36 of the UK’s dedicated conference venues – has appointed Roderick Richman as the first full-time chief executive.

Richman joins from Foulds Ingham, the worldwide provider of conferences, seminars and training events for financial professionals, where he has been managing director since 1998.

Until now, a board consisting of representatives from individual member venues has managed CCE’s activities. Its primary services to member venues include providing a venue finding service for corporate clients and agencies, and promoting the concept of dedicated centres as the optimum solution for conferences and meetings.
