Venue Reservations sees record sales for Christmas 2016

Venue-finding service has released Christmas 2017 booking dates early following £100,000 increase in turnover

Venue-finding service Venue Reservations has released its Christmas 2017 booking dates two months early - following record sales for Christmas 2016 events in London.

Venue Reservations has reported a £100,000 increase in turnover compared to the same period last year, with enquiries and bookings for Christmas 2016 being the most successful period in the company’s history. It is also projecting an overall increase of 15 per cent compared to 2015 - equivalent to £150,000 - by the end of the financial year.

Head of department at Venue Reservations, Chris Gaylard, said: “Christmas will always be heavily driven by price point, what is included and that all-important themed package. By staying ahead of Christmas trends and thanks to the treasured agencies we work with, Venue Reservations has managed to double our enquiry levels compared to last year.

“Our Christmas party venue portfolio has never been stronger and it is the key to our success. This year we’ve utilised our exclusive contacts with Tower Bridge, Gibson Hall and ICETANK, as well as increased our portfolio further with RMG Portfolio, Two Temple Place and Wonderlab at the Science Museum.

“Our portfolio will continue to grow in 2017 thanks to our recent partnership with The Mermaid, our clients are already enquiring about 2017 date availability; which is why we have released next year’s dates earlier than ever before”.

Working with event caterers Seasoned, KUDOS and Kudos Delivered, Venue Reservations has been in operation since 2013, with its dedicated Christmas division celebrating its fifth year in business.
