Virtual reality debate to headline UK Events Week

Leading figures in augmented reality, Jez Jowett, Henry Stuart and Scott Hope, to share their thoughts on 1 March

Augmented and virtual reality technology, and how they can be used in events, will be a major discussion point at this year's UK Events Week.

A panel consisting of Jez Jowett (Havas Media Group's global head of creative technology), Henry Stuart (founder and CEO of virtual reality production company Visualise) and Scott Hope (commercial director of AR Experiential) will debate the implications of incorporating augmented reality, 360-degree video and virtual content into brand experiences.

The discussion will be followed by networking and a drinks reception, all to take place from 5.30pm at Flux London, an innovation lounge at Engage Works in Whitechapel, on Tuesday 1 March.

The panel will be moderated by journalist and content creator Mike Fletcher. He said: "This is a fantastic addition for UK Events Week, featuring three pioneers of technology that will change the way we engage with experiential and live activity.

“By bringing together two supply-side experts in virtual and augmented experiences with an agency adept at creative executions for this new media, attendees will gain a comprehensive understanding of the opportunities and possibilities for the future.”
