Visit Belfast hopes to surpass £6 million in enquiries from this year's Roadshow, as it continues on its three-and-a-half day whistle-stop tour to visit 16 agencies.

The Visit Belfast Bus is meeting representatives from agencies including Zibrant, Capita, Banks Sadler, Jack Morton and Vista, before culminating in a Gin Masterclass at the City of London Distillery on Thursday 13 April.

It is the biggest tour in the Roadshow's three year history, growing from 12 agency visits over three days last year and organisers hope to surpass last year's level of enquiries worth £6m.

John Kelly from RAM Org said: "Agents love the format of the bus; it’s quite experiential and gets them out of their office and into an inviting environment.

"We’ve seen serious growth in the knowledge of Belfast as a meetings and events destination after the Roadshows, and business flows in once people meet the guys from Visit Belfast and their trade partners. This year include; Lough Erne, The Merchant Hotel, Hastings Hotels, Galgorm, Waterfront and Titanic Belfast."

Deborah Swain, conference sales manager at Visit Belfast, added: “We are delighted to be getting back on the road again; 2016 is a game-changer year for the city with the opening of the £29.5m Belfast Waterfront extension in May, and a host of other exciting new investments, plus we will have 18 more hotels by 2018. There is such an energy and a buzz about the city and we can’t wait to share that with these key agencies."
