Vista has appointed retail and leisure marketing specialist Francesca Ecsery to its advisory board.

The communications and events agency, which rebranded from Logistik Group at the start of 2015, says Ecsery will be a strong asset thanks to her experience in achieving business growth.

She joins board chair Michael Mahoney, and members Graham Lindsay and Kevin Walsh, to provide support and guidance to Vista to help achieve its five-year plan.

James Wilkins, managing director Vista, said: ‘’We are thrilled to welcome Francesca to our advisory board. She brings a strong and diverse background to Vista with a proven track record of working with businesses to deliver growth.

"Our advisory board has worked closely with the Vista management team over the last 12 months which has seen growth across all areas of the business including a number of new clients and 11 award wins."

Ecsery was formerly global business development director for Cheapflights Media, and has held leadership roles for STA Travel, ThornEMI, Thomas Cook and Going Places. Ecsery is also passionate about matters relating to women in the workplace and gender equality, and mentors women to facilitate career development. She is also commercial coach for a number of start-ups.

She said: "I am delighted to be able to leverage my 20-plus years of client-side experience to the Vista board and am excited to be working with Vista’s excellent craftsmanship and creativity in the marketing communications arena."
