Vista says its new branding has succeeded in attracting more international business after it delivered a 1,500 delegate conference for US retail giant Walmart.

The Leeds and London-based agency changed its name from Logistik Group early in 2015 as part of an overhaul of the company's image. MD James Wilkins says the move has paid off, and has resulted in more work in the US, Asia and Europe.

"Developing a brand that has international appeal has always been part of our thinking and design. Our five-year vision is very clear and increasing our international footprint is a key part of it," Wilkins said. "This is working well as we work with the most recognised brands in the world, and across the States, Asia and Europe more frequently as part of the wider contracts we've won."

The Walmart International Associates Conference, involved cultural displays from nine countries including Canada, Central America, Japan and India and took place in Arkansas in June. Vista was asked to engage employees through a strong agenda, presentations and an interactive environment.

The team delivered 16 award presentations, including international associate of the year, an international lip sync challenge and illusions from American magician Justin Flom.

Wilkins added: "Walmart is a fantastic global retail partner to be working with. The event was a great opportunity to showcase the skill and expertise of Vista in the States. We’re committed to growing the agency further in international markets."
