Vista increases scope with LinkedIn following pop-up success

Agency to produce internal staff event for social media giant after producing LinkedIn's stall at marketing show

Vista has expanded its work with LinkedIn after creating a pop-up experience for the social media brand at this year's Festival of Marketing (FOM).

The agency created the LinkedIn Content Studio, an interactive space designed to change visitor's perception of what LinkedIn can deliver on top of its recruitment capabilities, for the two-day show.

William Sutton, Vista's director of operations, said the agency had since been approached by LinkedIn to deliver an internal staff project.

"They want to continue to work with us and build that longer term relationship and that's how we want to position ourselves; as an intelligent and creatively-led partner who really understands what the business drivers are," he said.

Elements of the pop-up space included a webcast space where visitors could listen to podcasts; a liquid nitrogen ice cream bar, and a consultation area for delegates to discuss business challenges with staff. Vista also involved Jason Miller, LinkedIn's global content marketing leader, who spoke in a plenary session at the festival.

The LinkedIn Content Studio not only showcased key messaging but also provided a space for delegates to meet and interact with our experts in a truly unique and exciting environment. Vista considered our brand values and key objective at every step of the process; we couldn’t be happier with the finished result."

The two-day festival took place in October at Tobacco Dock.
