Wildgoose forecasts 'record' 2016 and plots international growth

Events company reveals 15 per cent increase in festive related turnover

Wildgoose Events has enjoyed a 15 per cent increase in Christmas-linked turnover and plans to expand beyond the UK.

The company, which specialises in GPS team building challenges, says the positive results were helped by two festive-themed challenges, and could be followed by a "best year ever" in 2016, beginning with a record January to March period.

Wildgoose's two Christmas team building challenges, the Ho Ho Quiz and Festive Pub Explorer, incorporated festive themed tasks and questions, which the company says were popular with clients. Commercial real estate agents Cushman & Wakefield said delegates were "really impressed" with the app.

“The results of our Christmas themed events are a great way for us to end a very successful year. Our strategy was to increase our indoor options and we have had great success in growing what we do away from the traditional outdoor events that we are well-known for," Jonny Edser, MD of Wildgoose said.

“We are on course for a record January - March period and continue to push the boundaries in what we can offer. Our new website is helping with that too. We continue to grow and develop as a company and 2016 is already looking to be our best year ever as we are targeting new locations, new licencees and even expanding our operation beyond the UK.”
