XSEM has increased full time staff numbers by almost one third, welcoming three new recruits as it works on expanding its international reach for 2016.

The Leeds-based events agency, which has represented PPG, Molson Coors and Nisa, said the appointments would help establish long-term partnerships with clients. It comes after Nisa awarded XSEM the contract for its annual exhibition in 2016, involving thousands of its members, for the third consecutive year.

XSEM director and co-owner, Michael Gwilliam, said: “The whole team has maintained a strong focus on delivering professional and unforgettable solutions for our growing list of clients.

“Our goal at XSEM has always been to develop mutually beneficial partnerships, and not just one-off solutions for clients. The approach has paid dividends and the varied destination list proves our ambitions go hand in hand with our clients’ own objectives. It’s really exciting to be able to add to the team with some wonderfully experienced and talented individuals.”

The agency has welcomed Anna Houghton as project manager, Victoria Blackburn as senior project manager and Sarah Davenport as the company's first dedicated sales and marketing manager.

Gwilliam added: “It’s wonderful to kick off 2016 with three brilliantly qualified new faces in Sarah, Victoria and Anna. They bring with them a depth of experience, skill and talent that I know will help us achieve our goals over the next 12 months.”

Gwilliam says XSEM will maintain its focus on further extending its impressive international reach on behalf of its clients throughout 2016. XSEM organises events, conferences, sports experiences and incentive-based travel schemes in more than 25 global locations in 2015, which included Cape Town, New York, Mauritius, Las Vegas, Berlin and Reykjavik.
