The Grove, Narberth, Wales

The Grove in Narberth, Wales is an 18th century country house, which has opened its doors to the corporate market. Situated in 24 acres on the edge of the Pembrokeshire National Park, the newly refurbished venue has 12 bedrooms and four self contained cottages. The Grove has three event spaces, the Garden Room, which has its own private terrace and can cater for a maximum of 22 delegates theatre style. The panelled room can hold a maximum of 16 delegates and the study can hold 10 delegates. The whole venue can be hired exclusively. Food is prepared by Nigel Marraige, a two Michelin star chef who was previously head-chef at Le Manoir Aux Quat Saisons.

MWB Meeting Venues Paddington, London

A new meeting venue destination has opened up just five minutes walk from the Heathrow Express platforms at Paddington Station in London. MWB Meeting Venues Paddington offers 14 rooms and has the capacity to accommodate up to 200 delegates in a range of flexible room configurations, all housed on the fourth floor of the new One Kingdom Street building. To celebrate the opening of this building there is a special £40pp day delegate rate introductory offer.

Heart of England Conference and Events Centre, Warwickshire

Corporate guests can take their bucket and spade to their meeting at the Heart of England Conference and Events Centre in Warwickshire. The most central sandy beach in England has been created at the 160-acre venue which can be hired by companies for exclusive use. Delegates can relax in deck chairs and enjoy ice cream or hop on a pedalo or rowing boat. Other teambuilding activities at the 300-capactity conference centre include quad biking, zip wire and crazy golf.

Citadines London South Kensington, London

Ascott officially opens the doors of Citadines London South Kensington after a five-month campaign to redesign and refurbish one of the group’s flagship London serviced residences. All 92 studios and one-bedroom duplex apartments have been restyled to present a comfortable open plan living space. Sofa beds have been replaced in every studio (from £137) with fixed double beds, while one-bedroom apartments (from £207) continue to offer an additional sofa-bed. Every room has a flat-screen TV offering internet access, an iPod docking station, complimentary WiFi and broadband, an air-cooling system, and large opening windows.

Great Victoria Hotel, Bradford

The Great Victoria Hotel, a listed building located in the heart of Bradford, has created a dedicated business bedrooms floor. Each new bedroom has free WiFi, an extension lead, stationary pack, a spacious desk area with an adjustable lamp and comfortable of desk chair. People wishing to book this room package will also be entitled to free use of the business centre, a daily newspaper, water and fruit, one complimentary room service charge per day, in-room hot drinks and Yorkshire biscuits, and a free tea/coffee station on the landing from 6-8pm.

Turnberry, Ayrshire, Scotland

Turnberry, Scotland, has unveiled a new corporate event suite which it says offers one of the most inspiring backdrops in the UK. Up to 200 guests can be catered for banqueting style in the new Turnberry Suite, which has floor-to-ceiling windows and direct access to a large private outdoor terrace offering space for groups to enjoy summer barbecues and evening drinks as well as elevated views over the Ailsa golf course, Irish Sea and island of Ailsa Craig.

The Christopher Hotel, Eton, Berkshire

The Christopher Hotel, a former Coaching Inn dating back to 1711 situated in the heart of Eton in Berkshire, has launched a new package to allow meeting delegates to discover Royal Windsor. The 24-hour package costs £208 for a double room and £185 for a single and includes a meeting in the hotel’s 12-seater boardroom with pastries or bacon sandwiches on arrival, morning and afternoon coffee breaks, buffet lunch, two-course dinner and two activities. Organisers can choose from a city sightseeing tour, boat trip up the Thames, tour around Windsor Castle or Eton College or a trip on the Windsor Wheel. The recently modernised hotel offers 34 bedrooms and private dining facilities for up to 48 people.

Chessington World of Adventures, Surrey

Visitors to Chessington World of Adventures in Surrey will now be able to experience the new ‘Wanyama Village & Reserve’, an African inspired landscape filled with zebras, antelopes, meerkats and porcupines. A raised wooden walkway will lead guests to a viewing tower where they can watch animals graze on a field located at the rear of the Holiday Inn Chessington. Evening feeding sessions, animal talks and close encounters around the watering hole are all part of the experience. Team building and family fun day packages incorporating the ‘Wanyama Village & Reserve’ experience are available for 50-450 people. Delegates using the Holiday Inn conference facilities can also experience the reserve.
