Are venues legally entitled to charge 100% on cancellation? What if the space is re-sold?

Or how do you insure against weather disruption or force majeure?

These questions and many others will be answered when, due to popular demand, Meetings & Incentive Travel magazine are again staging a one-day interactive seminar on all aspects of venue contracts for the meetings industry - featuring Nick Milne, former Conference Manager at Robinson College Cambridge.

Data protection - The inside track
So you thought you’d got to grips with Data Protection? The upcoming new Regulations significantly change many of the approaches you currently take for granted.

Known as GDPR,  the legislation on data use and marketing communication really will impact on how you communicate with customers and clients – and of course how they contact you.

And the fines go up too – from £500,000 maximum at the moment to100m Euros or 4% your global income!

If that’s set you thinking, then join us for the latest update on what’s happening, when this all starts and the changes you’ll have to make to the way you use personal information.

All these areas will be covered by our expert speaker Lesley Tadgell-Foster, in this M&IT Masterclass: Data Protection - The Inside Track, on Friday 29th January at The Mermaid Conference & Events Centre, Puddle Dock, Blackfriars, London, EC4V 3DB

Target audience:

corporate, association, agency event organisers and event suppliers.
