A series of events designed for senior association leaders
has been launched.
The Association of Association Executives (AAE) said seven forums
would take place across Europe, Asia and the Middle East throughout the
remainder of 2017.
The meetings will discuss a range of issues from governance
to member engagement. Sessions at each event will be led by a member of the
International Association of Facilitators.
Damian Hutt, executive director of the AAE, said: “We work
closely with our members and association leaders to understand their needs and
have developed this global series in response to increased requests from the
most senior association leaders. The series gives leaders the opportunity to
dedicate time to learning best-practice that is being applied and to engage
with their peers too, all to focus on their key challenges.”
The next event, on Association Growth, will take place ahead
of the Associations World Congress, in Vienna, on Tuesday, May 2.
