Association executives entertained at murder-mystery themed dinner in London

Associations enjoy a murder mystery dinner

Executive directors from international associations turned detective at a murder-mystery themed dinner hosted by Lausanne Tourism & Convention Bureau.

Guests had to solve clues using forensic science props at the event, which took place  at the Royal Institution, in London, a scientific education organisation founded in 1799.

Earlier in the day, presentations were given by various eminent scientists from the ISREC Foundation, part of Swiss Institute for Experimental Cancer Research, and the Vivactis Group - the world’s largest independent healthcare consulting, communications and marketing network.

The aim of the event, which was held in partnership with the SwissTech Convention Center, the Switzerland Convention & Incentive Bureau and the Sandoz Foundation, was to showcase Lausanne as a centre of excellence for international science conferences.

Olivier Mathieu, Congress and Meetings Manager at Lausanne Tourism & Convention Bureau, said: “This is the first time that we have brought such distinguished experts to the UK to help us promote Lausanne’s world-leading position as a superior location for scientific international conferences and events. With a 200 year history of promoting scientific education and research, the Royal Institution in London was the perfect venue to entertain our guests and show them what makes Lausanne exceptional.”
