With international association meetings doubling every ten years and Paris the leading congress city last year, Atout France – The French Tourism Development Agency - chose London’s Albert Hall and the occasion of the Diana Krall Tour to impress leading British international association executives at a sparkling cocktail reception.

France finished fifth ranking country in the eagerly–awaited annual ratings compiled by the International Congress and Convention Association (ICCA).

Among the 11 other French partners supporting the event were Disney Business Solutions, presenting the numerous opportunities of its Parisian park; Lille Convention Bureau offering more than 15,000 rooms spread around seven destinations; La Cité Nantes Events Center - the first French convention centre to achieve AIPC Quality Standards Gold certification - and Rennes, 90 minutes by train from Paris, with 4,000 sqm of modular space.

The true French art de vivre was demonstrated by the Lyon Convention Centre, able to take the largest exhibitions, and the South of France was represented by Monaco Convention Bureau and Nice Convention Bureau with a technology centre hosting up to 3,000 people.

The aim of Atout France was to maintain contact with potential association clients and update them about French destinations and venues in a distinctly British environment.
