A high-level gathering of association executives will take place in Seville later this year to draw attention to the importance of meetings as a catalyst for wider economic prosperity.

The European Influencers Summit, organised by the international convention managers’ association PCMA, will take place at the Barceló Sevilla Renacimiento hotel, 23-25 September.

Up to 200 delegates are expected to attend the event, the second in the series, which was also established to bolster Chicago-based PCMA’s presence in Europe.

Designed for senior-level association executives, CEOs, corporate leaders and professionals, the programme will ask participants to ‘embrace disruption and inspire unconventional thinking’.

It will also focus on the role meetings and events can play as a catalyst for business success and economic prosperity for communities, organisations and individuals alike.

Sherrif Karamat, president and CEO, PCMA, said: “Whilst we are still a relatively new force in Europe, we are delighted to see the positive response to our leadership here. This summit enables our senior European industry peers to meet and share the wealth of their experiences as well as learn and be inspired by the programme.”

Keynote speaker, the Swedish economist and writer Dr. Kjell A. Nordström, will urge delegates to think differently about solving challenges and exploring untapped opportunities.

The EIS scholarship programme supported by the PCMA Education Foundation will provide complimentary travel, accommodation and event registration for ten deserving applicants.
