It’s All Change for Data Protection

Discover How New EU Rules Affect Your Business

Data Protection – The Inside Track

So you thought you’d got to grips with Data Protection? EU Regulations significantly change many of the approaches you currently take for granted.

The new GDPR regulations coming into force in May 2018 really will affect how you communicate with your customers and clients. Make sure your events are not affected and prepare for the upcoming regulations in advance to reduce the impact on your business.

And the fines go up too – from £500,000 maximum at the moment to 100m Euros or between 2-5% of your global income!

If that’s set you thinking, then join us for the latest update on what’s happening, when this all starts and the changes you’ll have to make to the way you use personal information.

All these areas will be covered by our expert speaker Lesley Tadgell-Foster, in this M&IT Masterclass: Data Protection - The Inside Track.

Designed to keep you up to date on your privacy policies and customer communication, you’ll find it very practical – with the emphasis on how to maximise campaign take-up levels, whilst offering the required protection of the Data Protection Legislation.

Data Audit and Privacy Statements – for both online and offline – will be covered in depth, helping you ensure that your promises are delivered right across your business: Digital and social will be examined fully, including rules regarding the use of cookies.

We’ll introduce you to the main data protection concepts and suggest the issues that you need to double-check and discuss with colleagues.

For all those with any responsibility for planning and delivering promotional campaigns, this is must-have knowledge for every business as the new privacy rules move towards implementation
