Happy days for 200 kids funded by Meeting Needs

13/06/2011

A total of 200 youngsters will enjoy morale-boosting day trips funded by meetings industry charity Meetings Industry Meeting Needs (MIMN). Working with Happy Days Children’s Charity, the £5,000 project provides enjoyable and relaxing opportunities for children that have profound and multiple disabilities, life-limiting conditions or have been abused.

Ryan Sinclair, CEO of Happy Days, said: “The children come home with a more positive attitude which invariably sparks off an immediate improvement in their physical and mental well-being. Many of the children face early death and sometimes the death of a friend at a special needs school and the trips give the children the gifts of happiness and hope.”

MIMN executive committee member Tim Chudley said: “Happy Days is a great project bringing rare happiness to very unfortunate children between the ages of three and seventeen. We are delighted to work with them.”
