All aboard HMS President for ISES AGM and party

27/06/2011

The International Special Events Society (ISES) has announced it will hold its AGM and summer party onboard HMS President on the Thames on 11 July.

The event will see current UK president - Imagination director Richard Foulkes -  hand over the reins of the association  to Jonathan Byrne, who is CEO of the Royal Aeronautical Society.

Sponsored by Tourism Ireland, the party plans to showcase the best of the association’s talent. Guests will be treated to pampering from the Powderpuff Girls, a BBQ from Dish, and entertainment from new Irish band, Harry & Alfie. Guests arriving early will also have the opportunity to experience speed boat trips on the Thames.

Foulkes said: “We are pleased to celebrate yet another successful year for the Chapter; I’m proud of our achievements this year, which has seen membership growth, the delivery of a strong programme of inspiring events and increased recognition as the association for creative event professionals.  Jonathan has a great team on board to continue to deliver high value for our membership; I wish him great success and look forward to continuing to work together to develop our international ISES relations.”

Byrne added: “As an association that represents the creative events industry, the evening will be a true showcase of ISES creativity. We welcome members and non-members to come and hear about our plans to deliver value for members during the next 12 months as well as take the opportunity to connect with new contacts and celebrate with us, ISES style.”

For more information about the event and to book your place, visit www.isesuk.org. Member's tickets are £30 + VAT and £45 + VAT for non-members.
