Live event and digital communications agency AVT Connect helped Bupa reward its ‘Bupahero' employees at an awards ceremony in Brighton. Both AVT Connect and Bupa are based in Brighton and the event for 120 staff members was held at the city’s Thistle Hotel.

The agency produced the ‘Bupa International Outstanding Achievement Awards’, which recognise staff performances. Awards were themed around various cartoon superheroes, to celebrate staff who ‘save the day’ for Bupa customers. AVT Connect created a stage with a comic strip background, as well as video clips of each of the finalists, showing them changing into superheroes.

This was the first time international staff attended the event, with employees coming from Spain, Denmark and the United Arab Emirates, as well as the UK.
