Corporate clients meet over meatballs with Searcys

Searcys welcomed more than 80 corporate guests to the launch of its 1847 Champagne and Meatball bar last week.

The evening was a celebration and showcase of the bar, its menu and the spaces it can offer corporate events. The venue, which is available for exclusive functions, can hold up to 120 guests for standing receptions. 

Those attending the evening included professionals from the likes of Deloitte, Eversheds, Capita and MediaCom.

“We had a fantastic evening at Searcys 1847 enjoying the House Searcys Champagne and Meatballs,” said Miriam Habibi, associate director at MediaCom. “The venue was something quite special and the team did a great job at showcasing the menus and demonstrating the potential for hosting an event there. The launch was managed really well and we’re looking forward to hopefully working with Searcys in the future.”

All guests were served the venue’s signature meatballs, meatball sliders and canapes accompanied with champagne throughout the evening. 

“Socially the bar is fabulous place to bring friends and loved ones but it’s also a fantastic venue for corporate events,” said Susanna Ellis, sales and events manager at Searcys 1847 Champagne and Meatball Bar. “Being in the heart of the city the bar is a stylish and easily accessible venue for everything from drinks receptions and corporate dinners to relaxed business lunches. 

“The meatballs concept gives the bar a quirky twist while the surroundings offer a sophisticated and relaxed atmosphere. Some of the conversations we had with our corporate guests on the evening were promising and we hope to be hosting their events here soon.”
