The FRESH conference in Copenhagen, vaunted as the most innovative industry gathering of the year, introduced meetings architecture to an audience of hardened conference specialists.
Held over three days in the Crowne Plaza hotel and staged by Abbitt Meeting Support, the programme investigated food, seating and audiovisual among other elements in the changing future of meetings. The city of Copenhagen, proud of its innovative and green credentials, was in full support of the initiative.
Maarten Vanneste, MD of Abbitt Meeting Support introduced the profile of the meetings architect, the designer of the conference, and theatrically demonstrated relationships with other role players in conference organisation.
The sustainable face of Copenhagen was exposed through visits and dinners in the city's finest restaurants.
FRESH faced the challenges of hybrid meetings, poor presenters and the lack of audience engagement and successfully launched a new facet of meetings organisation.
