Venues Event Management is continuing to expand its team as its work load increases with clients such as BP, Capgemini and Mercedes-Benz. The agency now has a total of 106 employees.
Based in Swindon, Venues Event Management says that with existing staff progressing through the company to higher roles, it has been necessary to increase head count to more than 100 this year.
In the last two months the company has recruited Karen
Kilminster as client development manager working on the BT and Mercedes-Benz
accounts, as well as client co-ordinators Emma Collins and Claire Field, and Emily
Warner, assistant to company accountant.
Joining in the next month is Will Dalzell, team co-ordinator
working on a number of accounts including Virgin Media; Liz Matthews, client co-ordinator
working on BT, and Tom Duncombe, project and event intern.
Chief executive Anita Lowe said: “The secret of Venue Events Management’s staff loyalty is simple – investment in people. Since the Investors in People recognition in 1997, the company has not only retained their status but was also awarded Silver Accreditation in 2011. Our next aim is to work towards the Gold Accreditation, to demonstrate, even further, our commitment to our employees.”
