MEETING NEEDS PROVIDES MOBILITY
Conference and events industry charity Meetings Industry Meeting Needs has funded the purchase of a wheelchair hoist and wheelchair bracket for a newly qualified disabled driver through car scheme Motability.
Motability provides support for stroke victims and others who need special adaptations to cars and special vehicles to maintain mobility, enabling disabled people to attend work and become more socially included.
Meeting Needs executive committee member Charles Robinson said: “Motability’s work is practical and makes a huge difference to the lives of those who would otherwise be unable to leave their homes and pursue independent lives. We are delighted to help them with their ongoing work.”
Meetings Industry Meeting Needs (MIMN) is a registered charity founded by leading figures in the UK conference and events industry to raise funds for worthy causes relevant to the events industry.
