Nordic minds behind Brain Cities alliance
The first Nordic alliance has been established to bring more international conventions to the university cities of Aarhus (Denmark), Bergen (Norway), Espoo (Finland) and Uppsala (Sweden).
The Alliance of Brain Cities (or ABC), incorporating convention bureaux from these cities and SAS Scandinavian Airlines, aims to increase international conference business and strengthen convention service expertise through exchange of knowledge and best practices.
The partner cities all host convention facilities and have first-class academic reputations, already attracting a number of conventions, particularly in the fields of medicine, science and technology.
