New agency Clearwater Events wins first international DMC client

18/10/2011

New Birmingham-based event management company and DMC, Clearwater Events has won its first DMC client.

Former MCI account director Stephen Morton-Prior, who launched the company last month, said that an international sports and hospitality company has signed a deal for Clearwater Events to provide destination management services for a number of inbound programmes in Birmingham this November.

Morton-Prior said: “This fabulous client win is testament to the refreshingly different approach Clearwater Events has in the UK market place, identifying a real need for cost effective event management solutions supported with inbound DMC services.

“It is rare for an agency to offer both event management and DMC services under the same roof and even rarer for these services to be offered from the West Midlands’. This client win is testament to our unique product offering and client driven focus in the UK’s second city.”

Clearwater Events is already a member of Marketing Birmingham and recently aligned itself with the Birmingham Chamber of Commerce.
