Jack Morton's on trend with Wella awards in New York

31/10/2011

Jack Morton Worldwide has organised the Wella International Trend Vision Awards (ITVA) for the fourth year in a row, this time in New York.

The event – which took place at Manhattan venue Pier 94 on October 30 – attracted more than 2,000 guests, press and competitors and is the platform in which Wella shows off its four key hair trends conceived by its global creative directors. The event is also a showcase for young talent – 86 hairdressers from 46 countries were commended for their efforts as they competed for prizes.

As well as organising the event, Jack Morton Worldwide also took part in judging another part of the programme –  The New York Talent competition – where 12 young unsigned artists including singers, dancers, beatboxers, acrobats and contortionists performed.

Julian Pullan, president, EMEA, Jack Morton Worldwide said: “It is a pleasure to work with Wella who each time give us the opportunity to create innovative, brave and exciting creative work. This year we are delighted to be able to help expand the reach of the ITVA’s work in nurturing young talent, something which is close to our own hearts at Jack Morton.”
