Site EMEA Forum in Berlin to focus on the future of incentives

13/12/2011

The Site EMEA Forum 2012, which will take place in Berlin next year, will focus on the future of incentives and motivational travel. Registration for the event will open in January.

The Forum will take place within the context of the 'Capital City Congress 2012' organised by the German Convention Bureau (GCB) and the European Association of Event Centres (EVVC), supported by Site Germany, MPI Germany, ICCA Germany and VDR. This is the first time that all German MICE industry associations will meet under one roof at the ICC Berlin to discuss the future direction of the events industry together with leading political decision-makers.

Event chair Annamaria Ruffini met with Site’s host committee in Berlin last week to visit venues that are set to feature during the three-day programme, from 18-20 June. Site Germany already has VisitBerlin, Markenreise GmbH, the Scandic Berlin Potsdamer Platz and Deutsche Lufthansa AG on board as partners for the event.

Full registration and booking details will be published online mid-January and the final educational programme will be available in the spring. Pre-conference Berlin tours and post-conference tours to Dresden and Hamburg are also being planned.
