A conference centre has announced a string of association wins for 2012.

The Queen Elizabeth II Conference Centre (QEIICC), in London, said the business would bring more than 11,000 delegates to the venue overlooking the Houses of Parliament.

Sue Etherington, commercial director, The QEIICC said: “The association market has always been very important to us. We pride ourselves on our ability to work with associations and help them create their perfect event and so the vast majority of our association events return year on year. The team has worked hard to secure these new events in a very competitive marketplace.”

The first meeting is a three-day international conference hosted jointly by The Physiological Society, the British Pharmacological Society and publisher Wiley-Blackwell on 19-21 March. This is followed in June  by the annual British Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons. In September, delegates will attend the International Spine Cord Society conference organised by Kenes UK and Euromembrane 2012 hosted by the European Membrane Society and Imperial College London. Finally the World Sports Trauma Congress (WSTC 2012) is taking place in October.
