Meeting tech company ‘connects’ with Latin America

11/07/2012

Interactive event technology specialist IML Worldwide has secured a foothold in the Latin American market after signing an exclusive reselling deal in the region. The UK-based firm will sell its events hardware - including the award-winning IML Connector device - through Peru-based Stringnet Multimedia Systems S.A.C.

IML Connector is a handheld interactive voting tool with a built-in microphone and portable PA system, a simultaneous interpretation facility, keyboard and colour screen.

Stringnet bosses were impressed by the device when it was used during the educational sessions at InfoComm 2012, in Orlando, Florida, earlier this year and decided to approach IML.

Richard Fisher, CEO of IML Worldwide, said: “Our growth into new markets demonstrates how the global events and meetings market is evolving and the growing importance now placed on IML solutions to deliver not only meeting interaction but also valuable data and audience feedback. We are delighted to be working with companies such as Stringnet to extend our network and share our vision.”
