Q: How can I comment on an Editor's Blog entry?

A: Go to www.meetpie.com/editorsblog. On the right side of the page you will see the items in discussion. Click on the Blog you would like to comment on. Beneath the Editor's Blog entry is a comment link - click this to add your comment. If you have not logged in already, you will be prompted for your PIN to log into meetpie. If you have forgotten your log in details please follow this link.


Q: How can I add a comment to a News article?

A: Go to www.meetpie.com/news. Click on the headline of the article you would like to comment to. At the top and the foot of the news article there is a red box which states: "What's your view on this? Post your comments here". Q: How far do you work in advance for M&IT?

A: M&IT commissions features three months in advance (e.g. February for the May edition).
The deadline for the weekly M&IT e-newsletter is Friday.
The deadline for the monthly AMI e-newsletter is three days prior to the dispatch date.

M&IT Masterclass Seminars

Q: Are there still spaces left on a masterclass?

A: All of the events which have available spaces will be active to receive bookings on www.meetpie.com/events. If you would prefer to verify directly or have a last-minute enquiry; please email Liz at lcoleridge@cat-publications.com.


Q: How can I register for a seminar?

A: Go to www.meetpie.com/events and select the seminar you are interested in. Alternatively to view future planned events please click here where you can register your interest.


Q: What is your cancellation policy M&IT Masterclasses?

A: Cancellations must be received in writing at least 10 working days prior to date of seminar to qualify for a full refund. Cancellations received less than 10 days before date of seminar will be liable for the full seminar fee. Substitutions can be made free of charge at any time.


Q: When will l receive my joining instructions for a Masterclass l have booked?

A: Joining instructions are generally emailed two weeks prior to the event date to the person who completed the booking. If you would prefer to verify directly or have a last-minute enquiry; please email Liz at lcoleridge@cat-publications.com.


Online payment

Q: I am unable to pay online with a credit/debit card. Is there an alternative method of payment?

A: Yes. Email Liz on lcoleridge@cat-publications.com with your full invoicing address, name, job title and email address of all delegates/attendees together with the name of the seminar you would like to join and an invoice will be created from you.


Q: My credit card does not work on the on-line payment system, how can I pay?

A: Please note: We are unable to accept American Express as a method of payment. However, if this does not answer your query, please contact Liz Coleridge on 01342 306715 who will be able to take your payment over the telephone.


M&IT Awards [Meetings and Incentive Travel Awards]

Q: How do l enter the Meetings & Incentive Travel Awards [M&IT Awards]?

A: The M&IT awards are voted for by the readers of Meetings & Incentive Travel magazine and therefore does not have an entry process. However, you may request voting forms to distribute to your customers or alternatively direct your customers to our online voting form: www.meetpie.com/awardsvoting.

There is a special award for the M&IT Personality of the Year, this is open to voting at www.meeptie.com/poy.

MIMA [Meetings Industry Marketing Awards]

Q: How do l enter the Meetings Industry Marketing Awards - [MIMA]?

A: Entry is open to any organisation via a completed entry registration and payment form. Companies should be engaged in the organisation or provision of product or service to the UK meetings and events industry. The organisation does not need to be based in the UK, but should be active in the UK market. The subject of your entry must have been featured in your marketing campaigns during the year from 1st June of the year preceding the event to the 31st May of the year of the event.

There are twelve available entry categories including: Best Print Advertising Campaign, Best Public Relations Campaign, Best Web Site, Best Brochure, Best Direct Marketing Campaign, Best Use of Budget, Best Live Marketing Event, Best Brand Marketing Campaign, Best Integrated Marketing Campaign, Best Use of Video Marketing, Best Social Media Campaign, Best Digital Marketing Campaign www.meetpie.com/mima.

Resizing images

Q: How do I resize my pictures?

A: You will need to open the image using an image viewer and editor (Irfanview can be downloaded for free if you do not already have one). Offer Microsoft picture manager or other package recommended by editorial.

Q: Best bytes: I'm having problems logging in to upload my Best Byte entry.

A: Please locate the CLIENT ACCESS link on the BOTTOM RIGHT of the Meepie.com homepage, where you can gain access for uploading your Best Byte entry - you will need your username and password which will be supplied to you 2 weeks before dispatch date.


Q: How do I supply my Best Bytes advertising?

A: You will be sent a username and password about 2 weeks before dispatch date, along with instructions on how to complete this interactive function. Please refer to the instruction manual in the meantime, which can be found here.


Q: I'm having problems uploading my Best Bytes picture...

A: Please check that the image you are uploading is correct for our specification - it must be 180 x 120 pixels and RGB, or email BestBytes@cat-publications.com.
