|Frankfurt am Main – it's a small metropolis, manageable in size and pleasant to live in. Nonetheless, it bears all the hallmarks of a world city. It's hip. It's trendy. It's sexy. An exciting mixture of skyscrapers and timber-framed houses, of apple wine and sushi, of business and relaxation. A city imbued with contrasts: tradition and modernity; history and the future. Frankfurt, located in the heart of Germany, is a bustling city and the most important financial centre on the European continent. The airport is an 11-minute train ride from the city centre. More than 4.3 million visitors attend 71,000 meetings, conventions and congresses there annually.|
Frankfurt’s hotel industry is equally versatile, with more than 45,000 hotel beds available in accommodation establishments of every category. Better still, they are distributed throughout the entire city and its environs whilst being easily accessible by all means of transport. Some 9,400 hotel rooms with 15,000 beds are situated within walking distance of the exhibition halls and other Messe Frankfurt locations.
Messe Frankfurt (Frankfurt Fair & Exhibition Centre) has no fewer than 9 modern exhibition halls as well as prestigious locations like the Festhalle, the Forum and the multifunctional Congress Center at its disposition, the entire exhibition area adding up to around 355,000 square metres. The vast amount of space available for congresses and conferences makes it possible to hold events for more than 22,000 participants. As one of the world's largest trade fair organizers with its own exhibition centre, the Messe Frankfurt Group is represented in more than 150 countries.
Congress Frankfurt is the department of Messe Frankfurt responsible for managing and implementing conferences and conventions at the fairground. A highly professional on-site team works closely with congress organizers at every turn, from the planning to the successful realisation of their events.
Clients may choose from a large range of meeting facilities within the fairground. With an array of stylish buildings that can be combined and configured in countless ways, Messe Frankfurt is able to satisfy even the most ambitious and sophisticated demands. Whilst the venerable Festhalle can look back on a hundred years of history, the Forum and the Congress Center are paradigms of architectural ingenuity, of transparency and light, of technological refinement. Since 2014, these locations have been complemented by the Kap Europa congress building in the adjacent Europa district.
